1.普通空调滤清器，是由一种特定的环保过滤材料经过加工折叠后做成。只能起来抑制灰尘和颗粒物进入的作用.

2.活性炭系列空调滤清器，是由两面非制造布（无纺布）复合中间夹有微小的颗粒活性炭做成的活性炭滤布，再深加工制作成空调滤清器。能在空气经过阻流的很短时间段里利用颗粒活性炭本身的物理性能，吸附空气空其它的微小物和更多的有害物。

6.日系，韩系的各车型过滤器位置本都在副驾驶手套箱后，且拆装比较方便。美系和欧系车辆过滤器位置各不同，工具要用到十字/一字螺丝等（具体车型情况参考实例）在更换过滤器时，注意新旧位置要一致，长方体和正方体的过滤器易装反。观察旧过滤器，表面很脏且黑的一面为进风面，新过滤器毛面为进风面（有网一面出风）。换下的旧过滤器注意勿接近人体口鼻。可用塑料袋包装后处理。
