陶瓷矩鞍环属于填料的一种型号，它采用连续挤出的工艺进行加工，与同种材的拉西环填料相比，具有通大、压降低、等点。比鲍尔环阻力小、通大、、填料强度和刚性较好，是目前应用广的一种散堆填料。

矩鞍环填料床层具有较大的空隙率，床层内多为圆弧形液体通道，减少了气体通过床层的阻力，也使液体向下流动时的径向扩散系数减小。陶瓷矩鞍环的形状介于环形与鞍形之间，因而兼有两者之点，这种结构有利于液体分布和增加民气体通道。陶瓷矩鞍环由于其具有高的密度和异低耐热性能，并且能耐除氢氟以外的各种无机、有机及有机溶剂腐蚀。陶瓷矩鞍环可用于化工、冶金、煤气、环保等行的干燥塔、吸收塔、冷却塔、洗涤塔、再生塔等
